Mommy's Painting for Ian

The obsession continues...

Play Dough!

Who knew a few household ingredients could create hours of snow-day fun?!
Ohhhh! This stuff is so squishy... so fun... so exciting...
But the real question is, how does it taste?

Happy Valentine's Day!

First I want to show you the special card
I made just for you...
Now I want to HUG it!

Sending you hugs and kisses ~ love, Ian

Children's Museum: Appleton, WI

We had so much fun!
I got to be a doctor...
splash in the water...
(note the soaked pants!)
(I even muscled my way between all the big kids to get a toy!)
daddy showed me some birds...
I got to make coffee...
wear a fireman's hat...

and ride a big fish!

A Curious New Friend

Ian was thrilled to get a "real" George and has hardly put him down since. He shares meals & toys and talks to him as though he's trying to teach him things. When I walked into the room and saw Ian holding George and pointing out the window saying in a quiet voice, "noh!" (snow) my heart melted. (Good thing the camera was close)

Super Ian!

The main focus of our site will be the star attraction of our universe... Ian. He is now 18 months old and full of personality. The key word for the past few months is: INCREASE. He's increasing his vocabulary, increasing in height, increasing in coordination, and increasing his dislike of many foods. He's also increasing in charm, hair, and funny facial expressions.

A few tid-bits: A recent event for Ian was mastering going down the stairs to the playroom. He is very engineer-minded trying to figure out how everything works... and incidentally how things break. He's talking a lot but it takes a good listener to figure out what he's trying to say. "Elmo" has currently taken a back seat to Ian's new favorite, "Curious George."

Welcome!
