Ian & Audrey Comparison at 5 weeks

Here's big brother Ian at Audrey's age... there is a striking similarity!

Here's our Audrey ~ She's just starting to look around more & cracking a few smiles but none captured on film quite yet...

Classic Ian story: We have 2 stools at the island which we discourage Ian from playing with. However, every once in a while - as long as he's being safe - we let him use his imagination. Today he climbed inside a stool & was "driving a car." I asked him if he was being safe to which he replied, "Yes, Mama, I'm wearing my seat belt!"

Life with Two!

Audrey has been such a wonderful baby! She goes 4 or 5 hrs. between feedings and for the most part falls back to sleep at night after meals. She rarely complains - except when she's getting a new diaper or a bath. Mommy is having a harder time coping with sleep deprivation than she remembers with Ian... but we are slowly getting into a rhythm.

Some recent events: Ian enjoyed his first McDonald's Happy Meal at the drive-thru with mommy. He can't stop talking about the "farmer" (old McDonald) giving him food & a toy! We also had our first outing as a family of 4 - lunch at a restaurant on a beautiful day of 45 deg. temps.
Ian is an AMAZING big brother... he loves his baby sister! The only changes we've seen from him are that he's louder now & tries to get a bit more attention.

When she's awake, she's wide-eyed and very alert!
