Summer (so far)

Ian & his buddy Jack as "graduates" of Safety Town!

Safety Town is an awesome week-long day camp where kids learn anything & everything you can think of in regard to safety. They even had to crawl through a simulated house on fire to escape, ride in a bus, sit in a seat that rotates to experience how seatbelts save lives in a crash and make a 911 call. Ian loved it!

The kids took turns "driving" and walking around a miniature city complete with crosswalks, stop signs, stop lights and other signage they are now familiar with.
Trip to Door County: Hug Time

We joined friends Benny & Jack to try miniature golfing for the first time.

Audrey liked it as long as nobody tried to help her. Ian liked it for a few minutes... Maybe next time!

They were more interested in the water balloon games going on next to the course.

What a bunch of cuties!

Audrey's beloved squishy mouse

Nana came for a visit ~ the kids enjoyed checking out a local fountain!

Father's Day Vacation: Kansas

If you had told me growing up that we'd be making annual driving trips to Kansas to visit family, I wouldn't have believed it. We always look forward to these roadtrips, the kids did great in the car and we all had SO much fun... as usual :)
